Not to quote the country song intentionally, but where were you during 9/11? I was a sophomore in high school, in choir class but unaware. Went to my World Civilizations class and saw the tv was on. I went through the day terrified that more attacks would come. On the way home saw huge lines of people getting gas. Watched Fox News and CNN all day. Really every channel was covering the news. It was so unreal, it was scary.
Fast forward. May 1, 2011. I was watching South Park on Netflix. Got onto Facebook on my iPhone out of boredom, only to see people posting of Osama Bin Laden's death. Turned on ABC and watched the president confirm it.
I will remember both days for years to come, can't guarantee forever because let's face it, my memory sucks at times. But still. This is Pearl Harbor and Hitler's death for our generation.
